For over 70 years, they have kept pace with California’s growth, and with more than 100 attorneys, they have the resources and experience to offer the highest quality representation in a wide variety of legal matters. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join our growing team. Attorneys with experience in either single-plaintiff or class-action cases are encouraged to apply.



IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Will represent employers in litigation including wage and hour class actions, PAGA actions, discrimination claims, and wrongful discharge cases.
  • Advise clients on employment law matters, including hiring, compensation systems, employee benefits, and termination.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, handbooks, and personnel policies.
  • Counsel clients on compliance with wage and hour regulations, OSHA requirements, and employee leave policies.
  • Defend employers in audits and investigations by state and federal agencies.
  • Assist with union-related matters, including organizing campaigns, contract negotiations, and grievance resolutions.
  • Provide strategic advice on labor issues related to layoffs, mergers, acquisitions, and business closures.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the state bar.
  • 3–5 years of labor and employment law experience in California.
  • Strong litigation background with experience handling wage and hour disputes, discrimination cases, and class actions.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Base Salary Range: $160,000 - $215,000
  • Plus performance-based incentives include percentages for origination, collections, profit sharing, and realization rates. We can delve into more details to find mutually beneficial terms.
