Our tech stack handles the administrative heavy lifting, document organization, and initial prep work, freeing you to focus on client strategy, depositions, and trial advocacy. We are looking for an ambitious 2–6-year employment attorney who wants to do meaningful work, grow with us, and become a long-term pillar of our litigation team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of single-plaintiff FEHA litigation cases (discrimination, harassment, retaliation, disability accommodation, wrongful termination) from filing through resolution.

• Draft complaints, oppose Motions for Summary Judgment (MSJs), and handle complex evidentiary motions.

• Take and defend key depositions, including plaintiffs, PMKs, supervisors, and expert witnesses.

• Participate actively in team strategy sessions, contributing ideas and refining legal arguments for colleagues' cases as well as your own.

• Represent clients in mediations, mandatory settlement conferences, and court appearances. Second-chair or first-chair trials alongside senior partners.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in California, in good standing.

• 2 to 6 years of dedicated employment law litigation experience in California (plaintiff-side preferred; defense-side attorneys with a true passion for worker advocacy are encouraged to apply).

• Solid foundation in the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), California Labor Code, CFRA, and California Rules of Civil Procedure.

• Trial-ready, team-oriented, and driven by client outcomes and professional growth rather than just transactional metrics.

• Comfort leveraging modern legal tech, case management software, and AI workflow tools to maximize efficiency.

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience ($140,000 – $190,000+ depending on background and track record).
