Paralegal - Trust Administration

Career Consulting Partners is partnering with a nationally ranked private wealth law firm in Southern California to find an experienced Trust Administration Paralegal. This is a chance to join a respected Private Client team, with flexibility on which office you work from and your hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Support 2–3 attorneys on trust administration and estate settlement, from the start of each matter through final distribution.

• Prepare trust administration notices and correspondence to trustees and beneficiaries.

• Inventory and value assets, working with financial institutions, appraisers, and CPAs.

• Handle asset transfers, retitling, and distributions.

• Prepare trust accountings and draft petitions (Heggstad, spousal property, and others) for attorney review.

• Meet a billable expectation of 1,500 hours.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Trust Administration paralegal experience.

• Working knowledge of the California Probate Code.

• Experience preparing trust accountings.

• Meets the paralegal requirements of California Business & Professions Code §6450..

Compensation

• Total compensation of $78,000–$92,000, including bonuses, based on experience.
