Mid - Senior Civil Litigation Attorney

Career Consulting Partners is partnering with an elite, AV-rated, Chambers & Partners Spotlight full-service litigation firm to identify a highly capable Litigation Attorney for their El Segundo headquarters. Our client maintains a selective, low-volume, high-quality practice, allowing for meaningful attention and strategic focus on every matter. Their attorneys are consistently recognized among the top litigators in the United States by leading ranking organizations.

The incoming Litigation Attorney will handle all phases of litigation, working directly with clients and collaborating closely with the firm’s elite trial team to deliver high-level representation.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of complex case files from inception through resolution.

• Draft, prepare, and argue motions and pleadings.

• Strategically manage all aspects of discovery.

• Take and defend depositions.

• Actively participate in trial preparation and trial proceedings.

Qualifications:

• 5–15 years of civil litigation experience. Backgrounds in complex commercial disputes, professional responsibility, employment law, and/or personal injury are preferred.

• Strong experience drafting and arguing motions, with deep familiarity of California state and federal courts and procedures.

• Proven experience managing cases through discovery and trial preparation. Meaningful trial or trial support experience is strongly preferred.

• Highly proficient in both taking and defending depositions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, backed by strong organizational, analytical, and case management abilities.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active, in good standing membership with the California State Bar.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Compensation: $190,000 - $350,000 + performance-based bonus
