Pre-Litigation Managing Attorney
Career Consulting Partners is seeking a Pre-Litigation Managing Attorney for a premier, rapidly expanding plaintiff’s personal injury firm in Century City. This is a pivotal leadership role. We aren't looking for a desk manager; we need a dynamic leader who leads from the front, setting the firm's standard for strategy, work ethic, and results. The ideal candidate will lead a full team of attorneys, case managers, and support staff. You will optimize the pre-litigation pipeline, driving operational efficiency while relentlessly maximizing the value of every case. Responsibilities:
Direct, mentor, and manage a robust pre-litigation team while fostering a culture of accountability and high performance
Actively participating in high-level case strategy, complex policy limit demands, and critical negotiations with insurance adjusters.
Oversee the lifecycle of pre-litigation files from intake through medical treatment, demand generation, and settlement.
Implement and monitor KPIs to ensure the department meets and exceeds settlement goals and operational metrics.
Streamline processes to handle a high-volume caseload efficiently without sacrificing the quality of client care or case value.
Ensure a seamless transition of cases to the litigation department when pre-litigation settlement cannot be reached.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
proven experience managing, training, and developing a legal team
Exceptional ability to evaluate case merits, identify medical and legal issues early, and build comprehensive strategies to maximize client recovery.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented work environment
Highly organized, results-driven, with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Compensation: $200,000 - $250,000 + Bonus structure based on a percentage of each settled case
