IT Training Specialist

Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an established firm with offices in five major commercial centers across California. They have been recognized by the LA Times as a "Top Law Firm," while their labor and employment department received a Top 25 ranking from the publication.

We are searching for an IT Training Specialist. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the firm’s technology and training initiatives. You will not only empower attorneys and staff through comprehensive software training but also play a critical role in evaluating and integrating emerging legal technologies, including AI tools.

Duties:

• Develop and conduct engaging instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning training programs for new hires, attorneys, and staff.

• Assist in evaluating, testing, and rolling out emerging legal tech, including AI-driven platforms like Microsoft Copilot and CoCounsel.

• Spearhead the administration of the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS) and manage/update the firm’s Intranet.

• Design clear, user-friendly training materials, technical documentation, short-form videos, and interactive modules.

• Provide supplementary Help Desk support for end-user applications and assist with website content and newsletter e-blasts.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software training experience within a law firm or similarly sized multi-office legal organization is highly preferred. A Bachelor's degree is also preferred.

• Deep proficiency in law firm standards, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Windows, and iManage (DeskSite/FileSite).

• Familiarity with legal macro systems, Adobe Acrobat Pro, redlining software (CompareDocs/DeltaView), metadata scrubbers (CleanDocs), and California court e-filing processes.

• Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language for non-technical users.

• Experience with ERP systems (Aderant), AI-productivity platforms, VoIP systems, and content creation tools (Camtasia, Snagit, Photoshop) is a major plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range is between $110,000 - $140,000
