Civil Litigation Paralegal
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an award-winning mid-size firm serving businesses, individuals, trustees, and families across Southern California. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Paralegal or Legal Secretary to join the dynamic Business and Real Estate litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, be exceptionally detail-oriented, and have a strong sense of initiative and responsibility. You will play a vital role in supporting our attorneys through all stages of litigation, from case inception through trial.
Ideal Candidate:
Prepare, format, and file pleadings in state and probate courts
Manage litigation calendars, deadlines, and court filings
Draft correspondence, discovery documents, and trial binders
Coordinate the service of process and filings
Maintain and organize case files (electronic and physical)
Communicate with courts, clients, and opposing counsel
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of civil litigation experience (required)
Strong knowledge of California court procedures and filing requirements
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to handle multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office
