Career Consulting Partners is proud to partner with a well-established boutique law firm serving clients throughout Southern California. The firm practices in both transactional and litigation matters across a broad range of areas, including bankruptcy, real estate, HOA and condominium law, evictions, contract negotiations, business advisory services, and estate planning.
The firm is seeking an attorney to join its Glendale office on a hybrid basis. With the evolving work landscape, the firm is open to candidates who prefer to work in the office full-time as well as those seeking a hybrid schedule.
The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient, collaborative attorney who can manage a basic caseload with minimal supervision. The firm represents clients in matters such as real estate litigation, evictions, and probate. Experience with civil discovery, case management, and motion practice is preferred; however, the firm is open to training the right candidate in its specific practice areas. Attorneys at the firm typically handle 10–15 court appearances per week.
Responsibilities Include:
Writing and officially delivering interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions to the opposing party.
Examining the requests received from the opposing party, gathering relevant information, and providing formal responses, which may include producing documents or answering questions.
Organizing and maintaining all documents and information exchanged during the discovery process.
Developing a strategy for both propounding and responding to discovery to support the case effectively.
Making sure that all discovery-related activities comply with legal rules and deadlines.
Filing any motions related to discovery, such as motions to compel or motions for protective orders.
Filing any court orders or rulings related to discovery matters.
Qualifications:
Experience in civil discovery, case management, law, and motions
1 to 4 years of experience in CA Litigation
Real Estate and Probate Background a plus, but not required
Juris Doctorate and California Bar Accreditation required.
Bachelor’s Degree required, related to law, business administration, or relevant field(s).
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation Range: $120,000 - $150,000
The firm handles 10 - 15 appearances a week
401k match up to 4%
