FEHA Employment Attorney

Career Consulting Partners is proud to partner with a thriving boutique law firm located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, across from the CBRE building. We are seeking an Employment Litigation Attorney with strong FEHA experience. This role is ideal for an attorney who wants real litigation exposure, meaningful responsibility, and the ability to take cases from intake through trial.


You will manage a caseload of 25–30 active employment litigation matters and work in a collaborative environment that supports growth and trial-readiness.  We fund cases through trial when we believe in them—even if the outcome is uncertain—because we are committed to our clients and to learning from every result. Our attorneys prepare each case with a trial-focused approach from day one and work within a supportive environment that prioritizes hands-on professional development. This role also offers meaningful opportunities to grow into a leadership position or senior litigation role within the firm. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage employment cases from intake through settlement or trial

• Conduct discovery, depositions, and motion practice

• Prepare and argue motions (including MSJs and discovery motions)

• Attend mediations, hearings, and court appearances

• Develop a case strategy and provide direction to support staff

• Maintain organized case files and meet all deadlines

• Prepare every case as if it will go to trial

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of FEHA employment litigation experience 

• Active California Bar license

• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills

• Experience with depositions, discovery, and motion practice

• Ability to manage a caseload with independence and initiative

• Professional, collaborative, and organized

• You will be exposed to Class/Paga, and little to no experience is fine. We will provide training. 

• FEHA foundation, however, is a must.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $120,000 - $200,000
