Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an established plaintiff firm that has been in business for over 15 years. We are looking for an Attorney with 3 - 7 years of experience in labor & employment law. You will work to help scale the firm’s employment practice, to service the ever-growing number of Californians who have been illegally discriminated against, harassed, unfairly compensated, subjected to an unfair hostile work environment, and/or wrongfully terminated. You will receive assistance from our dedicated team of legal professionals including legal assistants, paralegals, and legal secretaries to efficiently handle your caseload.
The ideal candidate:
- Will have experience managing employment claims as it pertains to Medical/Disability Discrimination, Wrongful Termination, Sexual Harassment, Retaliation, Whistleblower, Covid 19 & Workplace Rights, Race & Nationality Discrimination, Pregnancy Discrimination, Failure to Pay Wages/Overtime.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Management of cases from pre-litigation through settlement, with the support of a strong staff and advanced automated systems that optimize case efficiency (including CompuLaw, NetDocuments, Clio, and others)
- Deposition experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent research and writing skills required
- Draft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients, experts, and defense counsel
- Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our Glendale office.
Qualifications:
- 3 - 7 years of California Civil Litigation experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with the California State bar
- Knowledge of California Civil Procedure and Local Court Rules.
- Superior time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Experience with employment disputes including wrongful terminations, FEHA claims, labor code violations, and wage and hour claims.

- Salary/Compensation: $150,000 - $230,000
