Junior Attorney

Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a boutique law firm specializing in residential and commercial eviction services. We are seeking a motivated Junior Attorney to join our close-knit team. With a steady caseload averaging 20–30 active matters, this is an excellent opportunity for an early-career attorney who thrives in a structured environment and is looking to gain practical litigation experience without the intensity of general civil litigation. Our team includes dedicated support staff who assist with filings, calendaring, and client communication. We prioritize collaboration, efficiency, and quality legal work for our clients, primarily property owners and managers.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Handle a steady caseload of 20–30 unlawful detainer matters
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and client correspondence
• Support attorneys with case strategy and preparation
• Make occasional court appearances (non-trial)
• Coordinate with staff for filings, calendaring, and case updates
• Note: This position does not involve trial advocacy or responsibility for conducting trials.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 6 months to 1 year of experience practicing law; prior exposure to landlord-tenant matters is a plus.
• Active California Bar license
• Excellent written communication and organizational skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage a consistent caseload

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• $80,000 - $90,000 (D.O.E.)
