Business Litigation Attorney

Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an AM Law 100 firm that represents clients at the forefront of technological advancements, ranging from aviation to artificial intelligence, and possesses a thorough understanding of their industries and evolving needs. With 21 offices across the United States, Asia, and Europe, and a global network of legal partners, we are searching for a mid-level attorney with a background in complex business litigation.

DEPARTMENT INSIGHT:

Known globally for their business-minded and client-centric approach, the Litigation team provides a range of proactive, integrated counsel enabled by their in-depth knowledge of clients’ business goals. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collegial environment and work closely with experienced, collaborative practitioners on a local and national level.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a mid-level Associate in the Commercial Litigation practice, you will work alongside the representation of a wide range of businesses and individuals in federal and state court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution venues. This role offers the opportunity to advise and support complex business litigation.

DUTIES:

• Lead and manage complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution, including pre-litigation strategy, discovery, motions practice, trial preparation, and post-trial proceedings
• Represent clients in various industries, offering strategic legal advice and vigorous advocacy to resolve their business-related disputes
• Develop and implement litigation strategies designed to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Experience with high-net-worth client while building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships 

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3-5 years of relevant complex business litigation
• Must be working for a traditional law firm, not considering in-house candidates
• Experience managing large and sophisticated litigation matters
• Judicial clerkship experience is preferred, but not a requirement 
• Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to effectively interact with clients and counsel
• Active Washington Bar admission
• Detail-oriented and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Compensation: $250,000 - $350,000
