Construction Transactional Attorney

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Real Estate Associate to join our team in the Century City or Orange County offices. This position will primarily focus on construction transactional matters, offering the opportunity to work on high-profile and sophisticated projects with some of California's leading real estate attorneys. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience working on construction transactions, including design and architect agreements, construction contracts, and related documentation.

DUTIES:

• Drafting and negotiating design and architect agreements, construction contracts, and engineering and consulting agreements 
• Managing construction licenses and easements, as well as development management agreements and project management agreements 
• Collaborating with senior attorneys to handle real estate acquisitions, dispositions, finance, title and survey review, and general transactional due diligence

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent writing, organizational, and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team while also handling significant individual responsibilities
• A strong interest in learning and growing within the real estate field
• Experience in real estate acquisitions and dispositions, finance, title and survey review, and transactional due diligence is a plus
• Experience with data center leasing is helpful, but not required
• High level of academic achievement
• Active California Bar admission

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Compensation: $220,000 - $270,000
