Home of 200+ attorneys and serving clients from 6 different office locations across California and New York, we are searching for a senior-level attorney with a background in Environment & Natural Resources to join the team!

DEPARTMENT INSIGHT:

Our client’s Environmental and Natural Resources group assists clients on all major and emerging environmental laws at the federal, state, and local levels. They practice in the fields of climate change law, coastal development, and protection while representing various clients in industries including oil refining and distribution, manufacturing, and renewable energy. They received National Tier 1 Rankings in Environmental Law in the edition of Best Lawyers 2023.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The firm’s Environmental and Natural Resources Practice Group is seeking a senior-level associate (7-10 years of experience) to join their California offices (Century City, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco). This is an exciting opportunity for an Attorney looking to join their nationally recognized Environmental and Natural Resources practice!

REQUIREMENTS:

• 7-10 years of experience in Environmental and Natural Resources law
• Experience advising clients on a wide range of environmental regulatory and administrative enforcement matters, including issues arising under CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and related California statutes
• Experience handling environmental due diligence, investigation, and site and sale of known potentially contaminated property
• Excellent legal writing skills and academic credentials
• Active California Bar admission
• Detail-oriented and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Compensation: $310,000 - $340,000
