Transactional Attorney (Real Estate)

Our client’s Real Estate group has roughly 120+ attorneys, being the largest department of transactional real estate lawyers in the nation! ABOUT THE ROLE:

The firm’s Real Estate Practice Group is seeking a mid-level associate (3-5 years of experience) for their Century City office. This attorney will be performing work revolving real estate matters related to a broad range of commercial real estate transactions. This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate looking to work on sophisticated matters with some of the state's distinguished real estate lawyers. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years of experience related to a broad range of commercial real estate transactions
• Experience with drafting commercial leases, purchases, and sale agreements
• Strong background in title and survey review, closing purchase, and sales transactions 
• Demonstrated interest in the real estate industry, including participation in ULI, NAIOP, or CREFC
• Am Law 200 law firm experience is preferred 
• Excellent legal writing skills and academic credentials
• Active California Bar admission
• Detail-oriented and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Compensation: $220,000 - $270,000
