Home of 200+ attorneys and serving clients from 6 different office locations across California and New York, we are searching for a mid to senior-level attorney with a background in Real Estate Services to join the expanding Land Use team!

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The firm’s expanding Land Use Practice Group is seeking a mid to senior-level associate (4-7 years of experience) for their Orange County office. This attorney will be creating innovative, cost-effective solutions to the most complex problem facing employers in California and will contribute to the reputation for market leading solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate looking to collaborate and represent developers, property owners, and investors in projects from the planning phase through the complect regulatory, compliance, and approval process.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4-7 years of work experience related to land use and natural resources matters
• Experience with land use due diligence, processing entitlements, and environmental review under CEQA is required
• Experience with natural resources, wetlands, endangered species, California Coastal Commission, BCDC, the Subdivision Map Act and/or NHPA is a plus
• Land Use and/or CEQA litigation experience is also a plus
• Excellent legal writing skills and academic credentials
• Active California Bar admission
• Detail-oriented and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Compensation: $240,000 - $310,000
