Paralegal 

Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an established firm with offices in five major commercial centers across the state of California. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our growing firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support litigation matters with a strong focus on e-Discovery, including review and setup of Electronically Stored Information (ESI).
• Manage high-volume document productions and ensure proper handling, labeling, redactions, and privilege review.
• Serve as a liaison between attorneys and the paralegal team to ensure alignment and collaboration across multiple practice groups.
• Provide litigation support through all phases of the case lifecycle, including trial preparation, pre-trial pleadings, deposition support, and coordination with external vendors.
• Assist with court filings, subpoenas, and the preparation of trial exhibits and witness materials.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4–6 years of California litigation experience (business, employment, or insurance law preferred).
• Proficient in e-Discovery platforms and process management (not a litigation support role, but technical fluency required).
• Demonstrated experience preparing for and supporting trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills to work cross-functionally with legal teams.
• Adept with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat Pro; experience with iManage or other DMS is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and discovery protocols.
• Experience summarizing depositions, reviewing and organizing client documents, and managing case deadlines.
• Familiarity with trial support software or technology is advantageous.
