Class Action Attorney

Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an ambitious boutique firm in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles in front of the CBRE building. We seek a dynamic and motivated Employment Class Action Associate to join our team. 

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Manage approximately 40 employment law cases under the supervision of a senior attorney.
• Oversee case progress, including pleadings, discovery, and settlement negotiations.
• Handle a caseload where approximately one-third of matters are expected to settle shortly after filing.
• The caseload will consist of employment law matters, primarily focusing on wage and hour class action.
• You will have professional staff to assist with your caseload, such as preparing legal filings and gathering client information for discovery responses, allowing you to focus solely on legal work, 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• An active member of the California State Bar in good standing
• 2 - 5 years of experience practicing employment law, with a focus on wage and hour class action
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle a caseload independently and meet deadlines
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Salary: $120,000 - $180,000
