Employment Defense Attorney

Career Consulting Partners has formed a partnership with one of the largest defense firms in the United States. This is an AmLaw 200 law firm with over 25 offices and over 700 Attorneys. We are seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join our dynamic team in Chicago, IL. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled attorney with 5+ years of experience to work with a collaborative and growing practice. 

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Proven experience representing public and private employers in matters related to unfair labor practices, employee discipline, collective bargaining, and labor arbitrations.
• Strong background in employment counseling, handling issues such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes.
• Ability to interact directly with clients, think on their feet, and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, and initiative, with a desire to grow their practice.
• Knowledge of police officers and firefighter disciplinary acts is a plus.
• An active Illinois Bar license is required.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Salary range: $170,000 - $200,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
